Coming from developer SONOV, the guys and girls behind Shaiya, Dragon Sky and N.E.O. Online; Berkanix is a Sci-Fi MMO which puts players in a distant galaxy, where humanity struggles for a fresh start and survival on a new planet inhabited by aggressive natives.

Berkanix(berkanix gold) is developed using the famous Unreal Engine 3 and features a few interesting concepts in its game design including impressive visuals, large scale battles...and jetpacks! Player involvement and PvP seem to be a major focus for the designers. Combat involves switching between ranged and melee weapons when necessary, varying battle stances, unleashing combo attacks, using blocks and even dodges. In addition, a professor from Sejon University supervised the implementation of the Sci-Fi setting and scenarios so the adventure will hopefully be an intriguing one.

Berkanix is currently in development and there are rumours on the net about several secret beta tests being carried out. Nevertheless, the English teaser site has already launched so it seems fairly safe to assume that the game will eventually be available to the Western audiences as well.
